Kite Flying for Mother's Day

We had a wonderful time at the farm on Mother’s Day. We had a picnic with the dogs and then Ken and Ean decided to fly a kite since it was such a windy day. It was hilarious. During all the fun Ken lost his flip flops running in the overgrown field and got some pretty bad splinters. Ean fell down and hurt his pride. But eventually they got the kite in the air but as soon as they handed the string to me....it crashed. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted and I got some pretty good pics out of it.
